Friday !

Okay, I know I haven't been giving you guys a lot of information lately, here goes a little something:


My procedure went well yesterday. My back still hurts, but I really think it's going to work this time. Apparently, I got the most drugs out of everyone else yesterday! I told him to knock me out! I wasn't knocked out, but I was as close as I could get, I guess.

A surprise today: I started my cycle. A week early.  I started October 9.  It's October 30. Aunt Flo was like "Hey Heifer, time to party! Ask & ye shall receive!" The letter like.. totally worked.


So, back thingy done yesterday.. hope it helps.. what if it doesn't?..want to be on Clomid.. need babies.. told to call GYNO when I start..

OKAY LET'S DO THIS!

I AM SO EXCITED !!



I really hope the injection helps, if not, I am totally screwed.

So, tomorrow I am getting the third injection. I HOPE it works!  And maybe I will feel better & start blogging more frequently! I miss you, ladies!

Update

Here's a little update for yall. My back is acting up. I mean .. really. As you may (or may not) know I have been suffering with back issues for over a year now. I have been trying to make it on Tylenol alone for the past few months & that has stopped helping. I just CAN'T do it without something stronger. I cannot function on a daily basis.  Lately, as soon as I get home I've been snuggling up to a heating pad. It helps, sometimes.  So, I went to the doctor the other day & got back on Lortab.

What does that mean? We may not be on the TTC rollercoaster for a while.  I have a procedure planned for next week & if that goes well, I may be back on the coaster in time for next cycle. Who knows? It all depends on Thursday.

The Lortab isn't even helping THAT much.  It's better than Tylenol. Just keep me in your thoughts, yall.  Back pain is a bitch.

Okay, I am going to make this quick! I am going to blog later on what I got from Rain.

AF did start on Oct 9 (yesterday). Yes, she did. On her own. No question. For the first time in.. a long time.  I am happy about that.  I am happy that AF has decided to grace me with her presence without the use of Provera which I have become so accustomed to in the past year.  I was really hoping we could start Clomid this month. As you know, the HUBS assed around until Oct 7 to get his semen to the Doc. Oh well, we get to try, on our own, for one more month.

TIPS:





For the average couple, having sex once per day provides the best chance of getting pregnant. Let's do it.. AGAIN.

To optimize your chances of getting pregnant, after your partner ejaculates, remain on your on your back with your hips elevated for 20-30 minutes. Do you know how uncomfortable that is?

The woman-on-top position isn't great for pregnancy, since ejaculate may flow out. I haven't been on top in months.

I have the flying shits.  For real.  I have been sick too. My stomach has been acting crazy. Hormonal? Probably. I blame it all on the hormones. Acne? Hormones. Nausea? Hormones. Mood swings.. HORMONES!

In other news: Karl's sperm has been signed, sealed & delivered to the appropriate people.  The doctor should have the news within a few days.  But.. it might be too late for this cycle. I might have to wait.  Because, as usual, my hormones are crazy.  I should have started Oct 1.  I started spotting Sunday the 3rd. Wow, first AF without assistance in like.. forever, right? Wrong.  I had been spotting brown blood for like 3 days, then all of a sudden yesterday bright red started coming. But still, just spotting.  I barely had to wear a panty liner.  Marci (my doctor's nurse) said as long as it's brown and light it's not a true period.  We both hope for my husband's sake I don't start until they get his results ;)  But like I said, yesterday, it started getting red.  So is AF really here? 

Ugh, my hormones are raging.  I have been wanting sex like ridiculously bad.  I have been looking at every man's ass within a 3 mile vicinity..lol. Which tells me the Testosterone is the most predominant hormone right now. Great!! 

I know yall don't want to know this, but it is the best I can do right now.  I have been in a blogging funk.

Oops!

Whoopsies!  I haven't written in a while. How are yall doing? I'm okay. As you know, I found out a pharmacist I know is pregnant (after being off the pill a short time). Well, I am happy to tell you that another pharmacist I know it preggers. But she didn't just go off the pill.

We'll call her Mary.  Mary has a little boy.  They tried so long to get pregnant with him.  They could never figure out what the problem was.. After Clomid, other drugs, and many miscarriages, they tried IVF.  She FINALLY got pregnant.  So, about a year ago when I set out on my TTC journey, I asked her if she was going to try to get pregnant again.  She said it really depended on how much they wanted to spend. 

Well, I'm not really sure if they did IVF again, but I know she is pregnant! She is 10 weeks. Everything looks great.  She hasn't really told many people.  The only people that knew at work were our boss & the pharmacist that filled her fertility meds.  I felt honored! She said that she didn't want anyone else to tell me, that she wanted to tell me herself.  I appreciate her telling me. 

She thinks that I am going to be bitter, but I'm not.  She said that she has been in my position and she knows how it feels when someone else gets pregnant.  But it's different.  I know she didn't just get "knocked up."  I am happy for her.  I really, really am.

Oh yeah & I am spotting. This means Clomid is coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hubby just has to get that semen analysis underway.  MOVE IT OR LOSE IT, KARL!
