Patrick Swayze

It has been a few days since he's passed, but this is the first time I have been able to admit to myself that he's actually gone. Poor Patrick Swayze.  He was my first crush!

My husband's father died of pancreatic cancer.

Patrick survived a lot longer than most people do with that illness.

I wish I had met both of them before they died.
